Inter Unit Rugby Championship 2017
Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School (CTS) Diyatalawa won the Inter Unit Rugby Championship 2017 beating SLAF Base Katunayake by 29-07 in the finals concluded at SLAF Base Ratmalana on 15 August 2017.
At the women's game, SLAF Base Katunayaka defeated SLAF CTS Diyatalawa by 10-05 points and clinched the women's championship.
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chief of Staff of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias, Members of the Air Force Board of Management, The Chairman SLAF Rugger Group Captain DCI Weerasooriya, Officers and other ranks also witnessed the finals.
