SLAF Women's Team Wins Defence Services Kayaking Title
SLAF Women's Team won the Defence Services Kayaking Championship 2020 held yesterday (10 March 2020) at the Diyawannawa Lake Battaramulla.
The Defence Services Kayaking Championship 2020 was held from 9th to 10th of March 2020. During the regatta, the SLAF Women's Team secured three (3) Gold Medals and one (1) silver Medal. SLAF Men’s Team secured one (1) Gold medal, two (2) silver medals and one (1) Bronze medal.
The Deputy Chief of Staff Sri Lanka Army, Major General NA Dharmarathne graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman of SLAF Rowing & Kayaking, Air Commodore SMSP Koswatta, Senior Officers from the Sri Lanka Army, Navy and Air Force were also present to witness the finals.
