The closing address of No 152 Fire Fighter Basic Trade Training Course was held on 30 August 2013 at SLAF TTS Auditorium under the patronage of Commanding Officer Group Captain P Ranasinghe and Officer Commanding Training, Wing Commander CJ Hettiarachchi. The Chief Fire Officer Group Captain PMCP Dias participated in the event as the Chief Guest.

The Fire Fighter Basic Trade Training Course was commenced on 31 December 2012 and terminated on 30 August 2013. A total of 23 Airmen passed out as competent Fire Fighters on this occasion and they underwent both theoretical and practical training during the course.

The shield for the best airmen of the course was awarded to 42562 AC Jayathissa EMR for his exceptional performance.
