Formation Day of Junior Command and Staff College
The Junior Command and Staff College at SLAF Academy China Bay celebrated its 18th anniversary on 01 March 2017. The college organized several functions to mark this occasion. The formation day celebration s included the morning parade and the address by the Commanding Officer Group Captain Deshapriya Silva.
To mark the occasion, a religious ceremony was conducted at the Sri Bodhipadaparamaya Buddhist Temple followed by an entertainment event with live calypso music, dinner and distribution of gift parcels to the children at the Revatha Child Orphanage at Trincomalee. The Commanding Officer, Directing Staff, permanent staff members and the Student Officers of No 53 JC&SC participated for this event.
