Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly with the all Officers’ and Hundreds of exhausted but euphoric Airmen welcomed their cherished team home to SLAF Station Palaly as SLAF Inter Unit Boxing Champions – 2012 , on 29th  March 2012  after a nail-biting victory over the SLAF KAT Regiment and  all other SLAF  Bases It is SLAF Station Palaly's first ever Inter Unit Boxing Championship. AC krishantha won the gold medal on 52 weight category and LAC Udayakumara became the best looser at the Champonship.
