Closing Ceremony of Computer Technician Basic & Clerk GD Advanced course

The closing ceremony of No 02/2010 Computer technician Basic Course and 03/2011 Clerk GD Advanced Course was held on 29 March 2012 at TTS Auditorium with the participation of Commanding Officer Group Captain LD Gunwaedena and Officer Commanding Training Wg Cdr CJ Hettiarachchi, Gp Capt AS Vithana (CITO) and Gp Capt CHR Soyza (Staff off 1) represented the respective Directorates as the Guests of Honor.
The Computer technician Basic Course was commenced on 25 Oct 2010 and underwent both theory and practical training and passed out as competent technicians. The Clerk GD Advanced Course was commenced on 19 Dec 2011 and they too followed both theory and practical training as per the new course syllabus and passed out as professional Tradesmen.
The shield for the Best Airman of the Computer technician Basic Course was awarded to 40934 Ac Nishad TBCT and the Shield for the Best Airman of the Clerk GD Advanced was awarded to 28581 Cpl Gunasekara.
