The 26 Regiment Wing of SLAF Base Katunayake emerged champions at the Inter Unit Boxing Championship held from 11th March to 14th March 2013 at the SLAF Katunayake Indoor Stadium.

The 26 Regiment Wing Katunayake became champions by scoring 30 points whilst SLAF Base Anuradapura emerged runners up with a total of 28 points and SLAF Unit Colombo finished third by scoring 13 points.

Leading Aircraftman Isanka of SLAF Unit Colombo was adjudged as the Best Boxer of the Championship whilst Leading Aircraftman Bandara of SLAF Base Katunayake became the Best Loser. Airwomen also featured in the championship and the spectators were able to witness a few interesting bouts.

The former President Amateur Boxing Association of Sri Lanka Mr. DDS Munasingha graced the occasion as the Chief Guest during the final day. Chairman SLAF Boxing, Air Vice Marshal CR Gurusinghe, Director Welfare Air Vice Marshal MLK Perera and several other officers were also present.
