Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Jagath Jayasuriya was accorded a Guard of Honour during his first Official visit to Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters on 07th July 2013.



The Chief of Defence Staff, was received upon arrival,  by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama and was afforded a Guard of Honour which was conferred by the Colour Squadron of the SLAF. The guard of honour was commanded by Flight Lieutenant IRTPB Senevirathna.  




Mementos were exchanged between the CDS and Commander of the SLAF to mark this special occasion in the Commander’s Office.CDS also met the Board of Management of the SLAF.
