SLAF won both the Men’s and Women’s Championships at the National Beach Volleyball Championship 2014, held on the 15th and 16th of February 2014 at the Marawila Beach Volleyball Complex.

In the men’s finals, Sergeant Pubudu Ekanayeka and Sergeant Asanka Pradeep Janaka defeated SL Navy by 21 to19 and 21 to 12 points respectively while Corporal Geethika Gunawardena and Leading Aircraftswoman Dinesha Prasadini won the women’s finals by defeating the Ports Authority team for 21 to18 and 21 to 16 points respectively.
