The Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development (MoD&UD) Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa visited the SLAF site at the Deyata Kirula 2014 exhibition on evening 27 February 2014. The Chief of Staff Air Vice Marshal Kolitha Gunatilake received the Secretary. Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army and Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Jayanath Colambage also partaken at the visit. The secretary was taken around the exhibition stalls of the SLAF by   Director Aeronautical Engineering Air Vice Marshal PDJ Kumarasiri and the CRDO Air Cdre TGJ Amarasena and Air Cdre AH Wijesiri were also present during the site tour.

The Deyata kirula-2014 witnessed the participation of large crowds in these days and expect more as the exhibition continues in the coming two Days.
