Sri Lanka Air Force conducted a series of workshops on ‘Sustainable Agriculture Practices for Crop Cultivation and Live Stock Production’ for the farming community in Northern and Eastern provinces. 

These workshops were aimed to impart knowledge on Animals Husbandry, Advantages of using Organic Fertilizer and Disadvantages of using Chemicals and Fertilizer. 

Supervision of the Commanding Officer Group Captain I Weerarathne, dedication of the officers and staff of the Command Agro Unit SLAF Base Katunayake assured the successful completion of the programme.
