A new house constructed under the "Guwan Lak Sevana” Housing Project launched by Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to 19106 F/Sgt Panangala RC. The house warming ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy at Walpita, Akuressa on 06th February 2017.

This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing (CEW) and SLAF Stn Koggala. Overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.

The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy, Acting Director Welfare, Air Commodore Priyantha Weerasinghe, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Koggala Group Captain Hyumal Dharmadasa, Officers, other ranks and representatives from SVU were also present at the ceremony.
