SLAF RTS Vanni won the Men's Championship while SLAF Trade Training School Ekala won the Women's Championship at the Inter Unit Boxing Championship 2017 which was concluded at the Indoor Stadium of the SLAF Base Katunayake today(31 March 2017).     

Leading Aircraftsman Lakmal KGC of SLAF Morawewa  and Aircraftswoman Senarathne GGSS of the SLAF CTS Diyathalawa were announced as the Best Boxers in  the Men's  and Women's Categories respectively.

Director Logistics of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal Sagara Kotakadeniya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Boxing, Air Commodore Clyde Weerakoon, Members from the Board of Management of SLAF, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayaka Air Commordore  Prasanna Payoe, officers and other ranks were also present at the event.
