The Official handing over of a fully equipped ambulance for the Sri Lanka Air Force to utilize for urgent medical requirements and for disaster relief in Sri Lanka took place at SLAF headquarters on 28 April 2017.

Following delegates representing the people of Japan attended the official handing over of the Ambulance keys to the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy at an official ceremony held at Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters.
