A community project was organized by Sri Lanka Aviation unit in UNMISS on 09th May 2017 at Black Eagle School, Bor, South Sudan under the patronage of the Contingent Commander Wg Cdr Sumudu Dahanayake.
 
A solar powered lighting system was donated to the school while School stationary was distributed among the school children by the contingent members.

Ms. Debora Schein the Head of Field Office Bor participated for the event as chief guest. Several members of UNMISS, School Staff, the Contingent Commander, Officers and Other Ranks of Sri Lanka Aviation contingent were also present at the event.
