No 11 Administrative and Management Performance Development Module for COs

The No 11 Administrative and Management Performance Development Module for Commanding Officers commenced on 23 August 2017 at Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay and concluded on 25 August 2017. The inauguration was marked by the address by the Commanding Officer of JC & SC Group Captain SDGM Silva and the conclusion was marked by the address by the Commandant of the SLAF Academy China Bay, Air Commodore HSS Thuyacontha.

The aim of this training module was to develop administrative and management performance capabilities of Commanding Officers in the Sri Lanka Air Force to empower them to take up challenges in the evolving organizational culture and administrative environment. It is expected to standardize command decisions, and to enable Commanding Officers to develop awareness and to share unique experiences encountered during carrying out of their duties and responsibilities. Further, this course refreshes laid down procedures and regulations while upholding standards and core values of SLAF.

 This training session covered a vast subject scope with lectures and fruitful discussion sessions conducted by competent mentors of the subject areas.
