SLAF Personnel of UNPK HELI-DEPLOYMENT (MINUSCA) Return to Sri Lanka
7:14pm on Monday 6th November 2017
The third Contingent of SLAF Personnel, numbering 94 personnel who served the SLAF Aviation Unit under the United Nations helicopter deployment in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) arrived in Sri Lanka earlier today (06 November 2017), on completion of their 12-month tenure. They were replaced by a fresh contingent who left the shores of Sri Lanka a few days previously. 

Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake Air Vice Marshal Prasanna Payoe, Senior officers of the Air Force and the family members of the arriving personnel were present at the Arrival lounge.
