Regiment Wing SLAF Base Katunayaka won the Men's Championship while SLAF Trade Training School Ekala won the Women's Championship at the Inter Unit Boxing Championship 2018 which was concluded at the Indoor Stadium of SLAF Base Katunayake on 05 April 2018. 

SLAF Academy China Bay and S&MD SLAF Base Katunayaka secured the runner up positions in the Men's and Women's categories.

Officer Cadet  Sindujan K of SLAF Academy China Bay and Leading Aircraftswoman  Samarasinhe SASK of the S&MD SLAF Base Katunayaka were announced as the Best Boxers in  the Men's and Women's Categories respectively.

Director Logistics of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal Sagara Kotakadeniya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Boxing, Air Commodore Clyde Weerakoon, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayaka  Air Vice Marshal Prasanna Payoe, officers and other ranks were also present at the event.
