Today the SLAF honored all Officers and men killed in action during the three decade long conflict in at simple ceremony attended by Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke.

Also Chief of Staff Air Vice Marshal PB Premachandra, Deputy Chief of Staff Air Vice Marshal HD Abeywickrama and all members of the Air Force Board of Management and all senior officers attended the ceremony held at the Sri Lanka Air force Monument at Ratmalana.
