The No. 58 Junior Commanders course commenced on 13th August 2018 at the Junior Command and Staff College, Sri Lanka Air Force Academy, China Bay. The Opening Address was conducted by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain SDGM Silva. The Chief Instructor and Senior Instructor also briefed the Student Officers about important aspects of the Course.

A total of 22 Officers from Sri Lanka Air Force, 02 Officers each from Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Navy, 01 officer each from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and United States are following the course for a duration of 14 weeks (13 August 2018 to 16 November 2018).
