The official website Sri Lanka Air Force, “www.airforce.lk” won the Merit Award in the Government Category and Bronze Winner in the Special Category (Best Tamil Website) in the Best Web Competition 2019 at a ceremony held at the Grand Ballroom, Marino Beach Hotel Colombo on 08 August 2019.

The awards were officially handed over to the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias by the Director of Information Technology, Air Commodore Arosha Vithana. The Director Media of the SLAF, Group Captain Gihan Seneviratne and members of the SLAF Web Development Team were present during the presentation of this award to the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force at the Air Force Headquarters today (09 October 2019).
