Commander's Inspection of SLAF CTS Diyatalawa

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias conducted the Commander's Inspection of Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School (CTS) Diyatalawa today (28 October 2019). The Commander was received on his arrival by the Acting Commanding Officer, Air Commodore Chaminda Wickramaratne. During the course of the inspection Commander inspected all the areas of the school premises and Certificates of Commendation were awarded to the following service and civil personnel.

Commander concluding the Inspection, addressed all ranks including civilian employees starting off by mentioning about the evolution of the School and highlighted his views about the significance of the school. Moreover, he stressed that CTS Diyatalawa is the prime training school which molds civilians into mentally and physically fit service personnel who can contribute to achieve the future vision and mission of the Air Force and it is the very fact that this School is one of the most prominent establishments of the Sri Lanka Air Force. Finally, the Commander appreciated the commendable effort taken by all Officers, Staff and Civilians in maintaining the standards of the Station at a highest level.
