The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias made his first official call on the newly elected President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Gotabhaya Rajapaksa this afternoon (19 November 2019).

This visit signifies the Commander’s first meeting with the newly elected President since the taking of office as the 7th President of Sri Lanka. After having a discussion, the President and the Commander exchanged mementos to mark the occasion.
