SLAF Station Sigiriya saw a change in its Command on 17 August 2020 as the outgoing Acting Commanding Officer, Group Captain GHP Nanayakkara USP handed over Command to Group Captain DS Kalubowila XF. The new Commanding Officer was in Command of the No 1 Supply and Maintenance Depot before being appointed to take over SLAF Station Sigiriya.
 
The Handing Over / Taking Over of the command took place at the Commanding Officer's Office.
