SLAF Station Palavi conducted a blood donation campaign on 08 Jun 2021 at the Station in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Puttlam. The campaign was conducted under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain C J Godakanda.

The main aim of this campaign was to donate blood for the Blood Bank of Puttalam due to the heavy demand of blood products during the prevailing pandemic situation in the country. Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Staff of SLAF Station Palavi participated for the event. The event was held while adhering the guide lines issued by AFHQ and the Ministry of Health on the prevention of COVID 19.
