Intelligence operatives of SLAF Trikonamadu recovered a substantial hoard of weaponry in the general area of Welleimulliwaikkal, Pudukuduirrippu on Tuesday 16 November, 2010.
 
The discovery was made on information given by former LTTE cadres at Trikonamadu Rehabilitation Centre. Following the tip off, a team led byOfficer in Charge of Intelligence, Pilot Officer PSDD Rupasinghe, was sent to the said location.
 
A total of 17 kinds of weaponry were recovered form the location and were handed over to the Officer in Charge at SLAF Mullativu on 18 November, 2010. The team returned to their camp at Trikonamudu on the same day after the successful operation.
