A Computer Lab complete with 6 PCs and internet facilities was declared open at No 22 Regiment Wing HQ, SLAF Station Palaly by the Commanding Officer Group Captain  Athula Kaluarachchi on 2nd Sep 11.  This is an effort which was successfully accomplished with the contribution of all personnel at SLAF Station Palaly under the guidance of CO No 22 Regiment Wing, on the Directives of the Commanding Officer.

The aim of establishing a separate Computer Lab at the No 22 Regiment Wing was to make the Regiment personnel more conversant on Information Technology through the conduct of training programs by competent personnel available in the Regiment Wing and also to extend the facility for the trainees at the Gunner Advanced Training School.

The improvement of IT knowledge of Regiment personnel and having more Gunners competent in  the IT field will contribute much for the effective and efficient handling of administrative matters at the Regiment Wings which will be beneficial for the general administration of the Air Force as a whole in the long run.
