The Children party and the Annual get-together at SLAF Unit BIA was held on 04 December 2011 and the second session was held on 09 December 2011 at the Unit premises. This provided a fine opportunity to service personnel, and the civil personnel of SLAF BIA to enjoy the day of full with their loved once.

The event was graced by the Commanding Officer Group Captain Peterson Fernando as the Chief Guest and the ceremony commenced with the lighting of traditional oil lamp by the Chief Guest, Commanding Officer 31 Regiment Wing, Officer Commanding Logistics, Officer Commanding Operations, Officer Commanding Administration, Unit Warrant Officer and few others representing other ranks and civilians.

The musical accompaniment was performed excellently by the Sri Lanka Air Force Eagles band and the talent show of the Air dogs which presented by the SLAF Air Dog section was admired by the kids as well as elders who witnessed the occasion. Further, a magic show was conducted by a veteran magician who has excelled in performing magic in South Asia.

Santa clause arrived to the premises in an eye catching red coloured vehicle and distributed the toys and sweets to the children making an enjoyable and a pleasant environment to the Children and their families.
