SLAF Station Diyatalawa Annual Concert of the Pre-school
The Annual Concert of the Pre-School at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Diyatalawa was held on 14 December 2011 at the Station Main Assembly Hall. The guidance and the direction rendered was by the Commanding Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Diyatalawa who was the Chief Guest of the function. The function commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest and the premises were filled up with thousands of heads which comprised of preschool children and their parents. This colorful programme had an assortment of the following flavours.







a.    Welcome Dance (by UKG girls)
b.    Ring Dance (by UKG girls)
c.    Naga Salmba (Action song by UKG girls)
d.    Kalagedi Natuma (by UKG girls)
e.    Kohomba Kale (by UKG boys)
f.    Kurumitto (by UKG boys)
g.    Mallane  Man (“Vedi Dance”by UKG girls)
h.    Piti Kota Kota (Action song by UKG girls)
i.    Kawadi Dance (by UKG boys)
j.    Mulberry Bush (by UKG boys)
k.    Found the Peanut (by UKG children)
l.    Bompiya (by UKG girls)
m.    Devadasi(2 girls of UKG)
n.    Ha patiyan, Muwa patiyan (LKG Children)
o.    Eskimo Sikato
p.    Que Sara Sara
q.    The Ugly Duckling
r.    Band Display
s.    Silent Night
t.    Arrival of the Santa
u.    Distribution of certificates and Gifts

The students were trained by a dedicated staff which comprised of Mrs Alfred, Mrs Silva and Mrs Fernandopulle. Officer In charge of the preschool is Sqn Ldr DCP Munasinghe,

The day was remarkable and unforgettable for not only kiddies but also for the elders as the events were performed by children in an outstanding manner. Furthermore, the function was an invaluable chance for children to eradicate their stage fear and to uplift their skills and talents of singing, acting, dancing and many other aspects. The children were awarded with certificates and gifts to recognize their performance of the day as well as to motivate and courage them for the betterment of their future career. All those who helped in the organizing of the event were appreciated by the Commanding Officer at the end of the programme.
