The Awarding Ceremony of Air Crew Qualification Insignia was held today
(19 August 2025) at Air Force Headquarters, where the Commander of the
Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, graced the event as the Chief
Guest.
The SLAF has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the
Ministry of Health to further strengthen cooperation in combating dengue
and other public health challenges through the use of SLAF drone
technology.

new National Record, called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air
Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, at Air Force Headquarters yesterday (18
August 2025)
