12th Air Force Open Squash Championship - 2017
The Air Force 12th Open Squash Championship was held from 24 June 2017 with the participation of more than 300 participants and successfully concluded on 06 July 2017 at the Sri Lanka Air Force Squash Complex, Ratmalana.
Ravindu Laksiri and Mihilya Methsarani won the Men’s and Women’s Open Championships respectively.
The Championship was worked off in the age groups of Under 13, 15, 17 and 19. It also included events for men and women open,over 35, over 45 and men’s and women’s novices.
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chief of Staff of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal DLS Dias, members from the Air Force Board of Management, The Chairman SLAF Squash Air Commodore SD Kotage, Base Commander of the SLAF base Ratmalana Air Commodore RP Liyanagamage, President of the Sri Lanka Squash Federation Mr. SuranjthPremadasa and Senior Officers of the SLAF also graced the occasion.
