Air Force Badminton player  Aircraftman Madusanka RSK (known as RS Kasun) defeated the no 2 ranked Sri Lanka Badminton player Diluka Karunarathne (One of Karunarathne brothers) this morning (23 September 2009) in the quarter finals of the Nationalized Services Badminton Open Tournament held  at the St Thomas’s collage indoor badminton courts. Further Kasun is due to play the Semi Finals in the same venue today at 1400 hrs. The Commander, Chairman Badminton and members of the Air Force Sports Council and SLAF Media wishes to congratulate him on his performance and all the very best in the game to be played.
