The national Decathlon champion Mohamad Sameera from the Air Force sports club taking part in the 87th National Athletic Championship, performed his personal best in four of the ten disciplines (long jump, shot-putt, pole volt and javelin) and aggregated 6342 points to lower the former national record established in 2006.

The Air Force athlete’s participating in this championship which was held at the Sugathadasa Stadium from 28th to 30th September 2009, have performed remarkably and the achievements of the athletes are as follows……
