A certain level of fitness is necessary to successfully complete a tandem skydive and to guarantee a safe landing for both you and your instructor. Your Body Mass Index (BMI) serves as an indicator of this requirement.
The Sri Lanka Air Force mandates that every tandem customer meets the weight and BMI criteria outlined below. These requirements are set by the equipment manufacturer, and for safety purposes, no exceptions can be made.

• Women - weight : 90.0 kg/ 198.0 lbs or less
• Women - BMI : 27.5 or less
• Men - weight : 100.0 kg/220 lbs or less
• Men - BMI : 30.0 or less

There is no minimum weight prerequisite for skydiving eligibility. However, please be aware that our staff will measure your weight (including your shoes and clothing) during check-in on the day of your skydive. Feel free to visit our locations beforehand to weigh yourself on our scales before booking your skydive.

You need to be within the age range of 18 to 75 years on the day of your tandem skydive. Please ensure to bring a valid ID with you on the day of your skydiving experience.

If you are 70 years of age or older on the day of your skydive, please download and complete the Declaration of Fitness form (point 6) before arriving at our location. The form must be filled out, signed, and stamped by your doctor.

The Sri Lanka Air Force maintains a strict policy of zero tolerance towards alcohol and/or drugs. There should be no presence of alcohol or drugs in your system 24 hours prior to your skydiving session.

If you have experienced or currently suffer from any of the conditions mentioned below, please download and complete the Declaration of Fitness form (point 6) before coming to our location. The form needs to be filled out, signed, and stamped by your doctor. This is crucial for ensuring the safety of both you and your instructor. Failure to adhere to these instructions may result in the cancellation of your skydive. For any questions, please consult your doctor.

The time indicated in your booking confirmation email serves as your arrival time, not your skydiving time. If you have booked a slot for 10:00 am, kindly ensure your arrival at 10:00 am.

Important Note: While our team endeavors to prepare customers for their skydiving experience promptly, external factors such as adverse weather conditions may occasionally lead to delays in the day's schedule, potentially increasing the wait time for customers. Therefore, we recommend planning to allocate between three to four hours (from check-in to completing your skydive) at our locations on the day of your booking.

Please bring along a valid identification document (such as NIC, Driver’s license, Passport). Additionally, if you are 70 years or older, or if you have experienced any of the medical conditions listed above, ensure you have completed and obtained a stamp on the Declaration of Fitness form.

Please dress appropriately and comfortably for your skydiving experience while also being considerate of local customs and sentiments.

We recommend wearing athletic, comfortable attire, such as T-shirts or tops with sleeves, and shorts that cover the thigh area to ensure a comfortable fit with the harness. It's best to avoid collared shirts to prevent discomfort from flapping collars during freefall. Additionally, it's advisable to refrain from wearing white or light-colored shorts or pants as they may become soiled.

For footwear, laced-up sneakers or sports shoes are ideal, ensuring they are free of buckles or studs. Swimwear, sandals, boots, open-toe, or heeled/platform shoes of any kind are not permitted.

Customers are encouraged to remove any valuable jewelry, watches, or accessories before their skydive. Protective eye goggles will be provided for every customer during the skydive, so if you wear prescription glasses or lenses, please ensure you have them on to fully enjoy the breathtaking view!

Skydiving is subject to weather conditions, which can affect our operations. Factors such as high-speed winds, poor visibility, rain, and low clouds may lead to delays or cancellations.

In the event of adverse weather, our team will announce a "standby," indicating a temporary hold on operations. Regular updates will be provided regarding the conditions while you wait at our location.

If the weather fails to improve and we must cancel operations, and you are unable to reschedule for the next available date, you will receive a refund.

While we strive to communicate any operational changes effectively, Skydive CADE24 reserves the right to close our drop zone without prior notice. In such cases, our team will contact you via phone or email to discuss cancellation or rescheduling options.

Considering the popularity of tandem skydiving at CADE24, we highly recommend booking your skydive in advance. Reservations can be made exclusively through the official CADE 24 website.

If you haven't made a reservation in advance but still wish to skydive, you can visit CADE24 and add your name to the daily waiting list. Our staff will then provide you with a designated return time. It's important to note that this waiting list operates on a first-come-first-served basis, and there is no guarantee of receiving a turn. Availability depends on the day's bookings and scheduling.

Each individual intending to skydive must personally add their name to the waiting list; CADE24 staff or the person's acquaintances are not permitted to add names on their behalf.

Important Note: Customers whose bookings may have been impacted or canceled by CADE24 due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances will receive priority on the waitlist, if applicable.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate female tandem instructor requests at CADE 24.

Customers are required to request rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to their reserved date to avoid forfeiting their payment. To reschedule your skydive, kindly submit your request to our tandem reservation team using the form available on the Contact Us page.

At CADE 24, we feature an on-site Shop offering a range of exclusive Skydive CADE 24 merchandise. Our collection includes clothing, keyrings, mugs, stickers, and bags, all ideal as mementos of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Visitors are encouraged to observe skydivers as they land.

Please note that CADE 24 does not offer daycare or child supervision services. It's essential for parents to supervise young children at all times.

The payment made for booking your skydive is eligible for a refund in the event of inclement weather. However, refunds cannot be provided for the following instances, among others:

• Failure to meet our age or weight/BMI criteria
• Failure to arrive punctually
• Arrival while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
• Participation in scuba diving within 24 hours prior to the scheduled skydive
• Exceeding our health and safety requirements regarding weight/BMI

Each tandem customer will be accompanied by a camera flyer, meticulously capturing every moment of the skydive. A tandem package at CADE 24 includes a collection of photographs and a standard edited video, approximately 3 minutes in duration, showcasing your tandem experience. Additionally, customers have the option to purchase a 1-minute video edit for an extra fee, which highlights the key moments of the skydive.

For those seeking additional footage, an add-on called 'selfie-view' can be purchased, featuring footage captured by your tandem instructor using a wrist-mounted camera during the skydive. This supplementary footage is available for an additional fee and will be seamlessly integrated into the standard edited video, as well as the 1-minute video edit if purchased.

While our camera flyers are highly skilled and equipped with state-of-the-art gear, in rare instances where technical issues arise due to equipment malfunction or adverse weather conditions impact the overall quality of the tandem media, the matter will be escalated to Skydive CADE 24 management for assessment. Depending on the circumstances, customers may be eligible for a refund of the amount paid for the affected camera package.
