The Change of Command in Non-Commissioned Officers’ Management School SLAF Academy China Bay took place yesterday (24 April 2023) where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Wing Commander RND Senadheera USP,Msc (Def & Strat Stu), Msc (Mgt), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), MIM (SL), AMITD (SL), psc handed over the command to Wing Commander GDDPK Hathurusinghe USP, Msc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), MIM (SL), AMITD (SL), psc, Justice of Peace.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Wing Commander RND Senadheera, will subsequently take over the duties as the Commanding Officer of Ground Training Wing SLAF Academy China Bay.

The new Commanding Officer, Wing Commander GDDPK Hathurusinghe, held the appointment of Staff Officer Green Agriculture Operation Centre at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff before being appointed as the commanding officer at the Non-Commissioned Officers’ Management School, SLAF Academy China Bay.
