The Annual Islamic Religious Ceremony of the SLAF was held this morning,
(21 July 2026) at the Kollupitiya Jummah Mosque. The Commander of the
Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe graced the event.
The SLAF conducted a two-day Fire Awareness Training Programme for
Security Officers of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC at the Fire School
and Fire Training Management School (FS&FTMS), SLAF Base Katunayake,
on 18 and 19 July 2026.
Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
