SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT HOSTS VESAK DANSALA AT RIFLE GREEN GROUNDS

The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit hosted a ‘Seeni Sambol Bun and Ginger Plain Tea Dansala’ at the Rifle Green Grounds, today (29 May 2026) as part of the Vesak celebrations. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, with the assistance of Air Force Headquarters and SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura.

The Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd), made an official visit to SLAF Station Palaly on 26 May 2026 as part of his field visit to the Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna.

The Inter Unit Billiard and Snooker Championship – 2026 was held at SLAF Base Katunayake today (27 May 2026). The awarding ceremony took place at the Gymnasium SLAF Base Katunayake with the graceful presence of Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Dhammika Dias as the Chief Guest.
