The Annual Air Force Christian Commemorative Service, where the Air
Force remembers and appreciates those who laid down their lives in the
name of service and the nation, was held at St. John Dal Bastone Church,
Pelawatte today (14 July 2026).
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, conducted
the Annual Commander's Inspection of the SLAF Base Anuradhapura today
(10 July 2026).
The Media Division of the SLAF conducted a five-day Potential Compères
Training Programme at the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) from
06 to 10 July 2026 with the aim of enhancing the event-hosting and
presentation skills of SLAF personnel.
Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
