The SLAF ceremonially declared open “Sky Legacy – We Care for You”, a dedicated care home for retired Air Force personnel, at Bandaranayake Watta, SLAF Base Katunayake today (22 March 2026), marking a significant milestone in line with the 75th Anniversary celebrations of the SLAF.

In line with the 75th Anniversary of the SLAF a fully equipped IT laboratory was ceremonially handed over to the students of AM/Mangalarama Mahavidyalaya, Mangalagama on yesterday (20 March 2026).

The Change of Command at the Aircraft Engineering Wing (AEW), SLAF Base Katunayake was conducted today (20 March 2026).
