SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY CELEBRATES 64TH ANNIVERSARY
SLAF Academy China Bay celebrated its 64th anniversary on yesterday (03 April 2025) under the guidance of the Commandant, Air Commodore Amal Perera. The day’s programme commenced with a customary working parade held at the Academy Parade Square, where the Commandant addressed all officers, other ranks and civilian staff of the Academy.
Subsequently, a Community Service project programme was conducted to uplift the environmental standards of Pudavaikkattu Muslim Vidyalaya in Trincomalee and Sri Bodhirajaramaya temple in China Bay . The initiative saw the active participation of 100 personnel from the Academy.
In the evening, a Night Cricket Tournament was held at the Academy’s Sports Ground aimed at promoting sportsmanship and enhancing physical well-being among Academy personnel.
