The annual Sports Meet of the SLAF Trade Training School, Ekala was held on 08 April 2025 at the sports ground, under the guidance of the Officer Commanding Training, Group Captain Kanchana Gunasekara. The Director of Trade Training and the Commanding Officer of the SLAF Trade Training School, Ekala, Air Commodore Kolitha Abeysinghe, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The full trainee strength, including Advanced Trainees and the Basic Trainees of  No. 172 and No.173 Intakes participated in the event. All trainees were divided into four houses as Albatross, Skylark, Eagle and Falcon. House Albatross emerged as the champions of the Sports Meet.

The event featured a variety of track and field competitions such as running, jumping, and throwing events. In addition, team sports including volleyball, cricket, basketball and netball were also conducted.

The day concluded with a Musical Evening, offering the trainees an entertaining and relaxing end to a vibrant and energetic day.
