Airmen and Airwomen make up the majority of personnel in the Sri Lanka Air Force, bringing in their specialist skills to provide vital support roles such as Engineering and Technical, Force Protection, Logistics, Personnel Administration, Medical Support and Intelligence. The Command Recruiting Officer will ascertain the number of vacancies available in respective Trades which require to be fulfilled.

Passes in 06 subjects at the GCE (O/L) Examination in not more than two sittings including simple (S) passes in Sinhala / Tamil, English language, Mathematics / Science or Pearson Edexcel International General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exam and Cambridge International Ordinary Level exams: Passes in 06 subjects in not more than two sittings. Passes are compulsory for English, all Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or Mathematics. Possession of NVQ Level qualification / Training from a reputed institute and work experience in relevant fields will be an added advantage.
