The closing address ceremony of No 145 & 147 Intakes General Mechanics Basic Trade Training Course was held on 20.04.2012 at TTS Auditorium with the participation of Commanding Officer Group Captain LD Gunawardena and Officer Commanding Training Wing Commander CJ Hettiarachchi. Sqn Ldr R Perera SO GE II graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on behalf of the Director General Engineering.

The 145 & 147 Intakes Gen Mech Basic Trade Training Course was commenced on 30.05.2011 and terminated on 20.04.2012 A total of 11 Airmen passed out as competent General Mech Tecnicians on this occasion and they underwent both theory and practical Training during the course.

The Shield for the best airman of the course was awarded to 41354 AC Kalubowila DCS for his exceptional performance.
