The SLAF Station Morawewa won the Men's Championship and 26 Regiment Wing SLAF Base Katunayake won the Women's title at the Inter Unit Rifle meet which was held at SLAF Station Ampara from 12th to 14th December 2012.

Corporal Wijesooriya DMC was overall winner of the meet. Deputy Director Operations Air Commodore MLK Perera graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the presentation ceremony.

The Chairman SLAF Shooting Air Vice Marshal K Yahampath, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Ampara Group Captain KDN Kodithuwakku were also present at the presentation ceremony.
