SLAF Become Runners Up in 75th National Wrestling Championship 2013

The finals of the 75th National Wrestling Championship 2013, was held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on 8 October 2013. The SLAF become the runners up with two gold, three silver and four bronze medals, whilst the Navy become, champions. The championship was held from 6th to 8th October 2013 with the participation of 110 male competitors.
The Secretary of the National Olympic Committee Mr. Maxwell de Silva graced the occasion as the Chief Guest whilst the Chairman of the Air Force Wrestling Group Captain WMKSP Weerasinghe, the Secretary of the Air Force Wrestling Wing Commander PE Gunawardene, Officers and Airmen were also participated at the event.
