Press Conference of the ''Sigiriya Rally Cross'' 2015

The Press Conference of the Sigiriya Rally
Cross 2015 was held this evening (15 July 2015) at the Air Force
Headquarters Auditorium, to launch the publicity campaign for the event
that is scheduled to be held on 2nd August 2015.
The Sigiriya Rally Cross organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force and Sri Lanka Auto sports Drivers Association will be held at the SLAF Racing Track in Sigiriya for the 7th consecutive year. The proceeds from this event will go towards SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit to be utilized for welfare of SLAF personnel.
The main sponsor of this event is Bank of Ceylon and the Principal sponsor is CEAT. Stafford Motors, E- Tel ,Peoples Bank will co-sponsor the event. The electronic media partner(Television) is Rupavahini Corporation, the Electronic media sponsor (Radio) is ABC Networks and the Print media sponsor is Associated Newspapers Ceylon Limited. The event will be telecast live on Channel Eye.
During the press conference, the main sponsor and the co-sponsors handed over the sponsorship cheques to the Chairman Motor Racing, AirCommodore JSI Wijemanne. The SLAF Chairman Motor Racing Team, Air Commodore AH Wijesiri, The Secretary SLAF Motor Racing Wing Commander Thushara Sirimanne, Command Media Officer Wing Commander Gihan Seneviratne, Secretary Air Force Sports Council Wing Commander Padman De Costa, representatives from the sponsors and several Senior and Junior Officers were also present at the conference.
