The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala conducted the annual AOC’s Inspections of SLAF Station Koggala and SLAF Station Katukurunda on 17 July 2015.

The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Shehan Wijayanayake at SLAF Station Koggala and was accorded a Street Lining at the Station premises.
 
During the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas of the Station. On conclusion of the inspection when he addressed all ranks praised the commendable job they had performed and encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals.

During the inspection at SLAF Station Katukurunda, the Commanding Officer Wing Commander Mohan Balasooriya received the Commander on his arrival who was then accorded a Street Lining.

The Commander inspected all areas within the Station during the inspection. A Certificate of Commendation was awarded to Mr WA Jayawardane (laborer) for the valuable service rendered for the benefit of the Station. The customary address by the Commander to all personnel was made on completion of the inspection.
