SLAF Rowing & Kayaking team emerged Champions at the inaugural Bolgoda Endurance Challenge Rowing & Kayaking Regatta winning 4 Gold, 3 Silver & 2 Bronze medals at Bolgoda Lake on 25 July to 26 July 15.


The races were rowed over a distance of 10 kms in the coxed eights, 6 kms in the single sculls and 5 kms in K1 kayaks. This is the first time that races were rowed in coxed eights in Sri Lanka and the SLAF was able to emerge champions, rowing a grueling 10 km winding race course.
