The Ambassador for the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Mr. Mr Yury B. Materiy called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias this afternoon (20th August 2019) at Air Force Headquarters. The Ambassador was accompanied by the Defence Attaché of the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka, Colonel Denis I. Shkoda.

A cordial discussion was held between the Commander and the visiting Ambassador on matters of bilateral importance after which official plaques were exchanged to mark the occasion.
