4TH LEG OF GUWAN HAMUDA PAPEDI SAWARIYA 2024 CONCLUDED AND FINAL STAGE SET TO THRILL

The fourth leg of the 25th Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya came to an end in Vavuniya today (06 March 2024), after a challenging 139.4kilometer route. Prabash Silva, representing the Sri Lanka Navy Cyclists, emerged victorious in this stage. Following closely behind, Umesh Weerasinghe from the Kadirana Speed Cycle Club secured second place, while Krishna Nayakodi of the Indian Air Force claimed the third spot on the race.

As the excitement continues to build, tomorrow (07 March 2024), marks the commencement of the final stage of the race. Starting at 8:30 a.m. from Vavuniya, cyclists will embark on a 147.4kilometer journey, culminating in Jaffna. Additionally, the Women's Race is set to commence tomorrow, starting from Mankulam and concluding in Jaffna, covering a distance of 97 kilometers.
