Sri Lanka Air Force Piduruthalagala


Sri Lanka Air Force Unit Piduruthalagala is located at the strategically important highest mountain in Sri Lanka, as a part of the National Air Defence System. The main role of SLAF Unit Piduruthalagala is to provide air surveillance within its area of coverage, early warning for the air defence elements, close control of SLAF interceptors, navigational assistance, weather information and assistance during Land/Air/Sea rescue missions.



Sri Lanka Air Force Unit Piduruthalagala is Commanded by Wing Commander MHMTCK Bandara.
