The Sri Lanka Air Force Rugby Team has once again secured the support of Sanasa Life Insurance for the 2025 season, marking the fourth consecutive year of collaboration.

The official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place today (07 March 2025) with the participation of senior SLAF officials, including the Chairman SLAF Rugby, Air Commodore Subash Jayatilleke, Deputy Chairman SLAF Rugby, Group Captain Dharaka Dias, Secretary SLAF Rugby, Group Captain Kolitha Weerasekara and the Secretary of the Air Force Sports Council, Group Captain Eranda Geeganage. Representing Sanasa Life Insurance were the Assistant General Manager, Mr. Yasaranga Godawela, the Head of Marketing, Mr. Mahesh Wickramathunga and the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nuwanpriya Gunawardena attended the occasion.

Prior to the signing, the Sanasa Life Insurance representatives engaged in a cordial discussion with the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, further strengthening the longstanding relationship between the SLAF and Sanasa Life Insurance.

With this renewed sponsorship, the SLAF Rugby Team is well-positioned to continue its pursuit of excellence in the 2025 season.
