The Colombo Air Symposium, the prime scholarly event of the Sri Lanka Air Force has unfolded for the fourth successful time last year at the “ Eagles' Lakeside Banquet & Convention Hall” Ratmalana. The Colombo Air Symposium was initiated in the year 2015 and largely evolved since, establishing a solid platform for the experts and the scholars in the military field to expand the multiple aspects of applying Air Power with a futuristic vision. The second and third symposiums attracted an increasing number of local and foreign delegates, extending the aspirations of a forum which would stem the knowledge that paves the way for a better and united world Air Power.

Presently the Colombo Air Symposium has marked as one of the major events of the SLAF calendar and a profound ground of knowledge transferring in the fields of defence and strategic application of Air Power.
